The Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary VP of Finance to join our client’s executive leadership team. The VP of Finance will oversee all financial operations, drive strategic initiatives, and collaborate with senior leaders to ensure long-term success. What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop and implement the organization’s financial strategy, including long-term planning and forecasting
  • Oversee budgeting, cash flow management, and comprehensive financial reporting
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the executive team based on financial performance and trends
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration
  • Ensure the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
  • Manage financial risk, identifying potential challenges and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with operational goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as investors, auditors, and financial institutions
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and standards
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy

 

Core Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or MBA is a plus)
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in financial management, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity
  • Deep expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and strategic analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a finance team in a fast-paced setting
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executives and stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of risk management and financial compliance practices
  • Proficiency with financial software and advanced analytical tools (e.g., Excel)
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and thrive under pressure
  • Industry-specific experience is an advantage, though not mandatory
